Pete Tong (as usual) got the exclusive premier to another soon to be HUGE track. This will apparently live on the People Of The Night album (no release date yet). All hail Pete Tong.
If you’re a frequent reader of the site, you know I’ve been anticipating this one for a while – and it doesn’t disappoint, Chris James’ vocals work in perfect harmony with the track to form something very beautiful. Be sure to check it out, Joel ceases to stop producing amazing sounds. To quote his website:
Five weeks ago, whilst streaming on live.deadmau5.com, mau5 wrote an instrumental that would become “The Veldt”. Chris James, a fan, took the track, added his vocal and shared on soundcloud. Not long after, the horde discovered Chris’ upload and urged Joel to listen… Soon after, the two artists were speaking online and within days, deadmau5 featuring Chris James “The Veldt” was complete.

Why do I listen to music? To be happy, to enhance things, to relax… everything. Music has the ability to make just about any situation better. Today, driving back from North Carolina to Connecticut, this song came on my Ipod and it instantly made me so happy, it came out in 1992 and was a top 5 hit. It’s incredible how timeless music is.
And this Armand Van Helden remix of the track, the synth from the drop sound familiar to anyone? Maybe a little bit like turbulence by Aoki, Laidback Luke and Lil’ Jon? I’ll leave it up to you to decide.
