Live from San Francisco and upcoming on his next album is the chill vibe track “Lisa”. Throw this one on and stare at the ceiling – or throw it on for some sexual seduction.
Just got back from a wonderful spring break in Florida. Visited Jon, hit the beach, and wrapped up my week at the Aura Music & Arts Festival, which took place in St. Cloud, FL. I didn’t really know what to expect at the festival, I had not heard of it before, and wasn’t familiar with too many of the bands, but after arriving and seeing the set up I knew I was in for a treat. There were three campground locations, three stages, and the music didn’t stop until the sun came up each night. I was totally blown away by some of the bands there, including two of my new favorites Dopapod and Papadosio, and was lucky enough to meet Papadosio’s lead singer Anthony Thogmartin. If you like jam-bands, meeting new people, and overall having a great time then definitely check out Aura next year.

Flosstradamus has been blowing up recently, with so much support from people like Diplo and other big names, it’s hard no to, and for good reason, the Total Recall EP packs a punch with a unique sound. The EP holds three heavy songs with delightful drum patterns over top of the tracks to add a smoothed over feel. If you missed their Original Don remix we posted last month, definitely check it out.
Don’t be afraid to give them some support on their Facebook Page

In my library, he goes by GLITCHDICK, but this Hawaiian native now goes by CTLGD, bringing together the names Christian The Lion and Glitchdick. Whatever the alias, Christian Mochizuki goes way hard with his remix’s. I’ve always been a fan of his “We Found Love” “Bromance” and “All I Ask of You” remixes. But recently, I rediscovered his Soundcloud and facebook page (Be sure to give him a follow / Like) and found his extensive library of impressive remixes. Some of the newer stuff that I was extremely fond of were the following:
This first remix vibes super hard thanks to The Weekend and CTLGD takes the song one step further by adding a nice Drum and Bass drop, the first time I’ve seen him step out of his usual dubstep environment and he definitely deserves some credit for proving to be a well rounded artist – This remix is fantastic.
Next is the “Find Yourself” remix. Typically, I tend to stray away from super heavy dubstep, to me much of it loses it’s melodic feel and many artists over do it. Somehow CTLGD keeps my interest with this track, the beautiful vocals are perfectly offset by the massive drops. Give it a listen.
Last is the “Move for Me” remix. This is one to throw on and stare at the ceiling, super chill with a great feel to it. I tried to choose three different tracks by CTLGD to show the range of music producing ability – there’s something here for everyone.
CTLGD has 22 uploads on his Soundcloud page, and I couldn’t feature them all, but I should let you know that I fully support each and every track – so be sure to check him out, I’m appalled that he only has 1,159 likes on his facebook page, so if you like what you hear, be sure to support him! Awesome work Christian, keep them coming!
