Born in the Philippines and raised in Holland, Luke van Scheppingen, aka Laidback Luke, without a doubt is someone to reference when talking about the EDM scene. Blasting your speakers with bombshell beats, stirring things up with his house styles and his unlimited energy, brightly results in both stunning live sets and ongoing anticipated studio hits. The Dutch heavy weight house master is loved all over the globe and is an absolute animal when it comes to producing bangers. A few weeks ago we put up his latest collaboration “1234″ with Martin Solveig and Chuckie, well now were back at it with his latest single featuring Martel, “We are the Stars”. Song absolutely kills it and once again proving that Laidback Luke is someone to keep up on.

Deniz Koyu has been blowing up lately. Fedde Le Grand voted for the guy as breakthrough DJ/Producer of the year, Sebastian Ingrosso went on and referred to him as “big time talent”, and Axwell went on record answering a journalist’s question of if he had a personal favorite among DJs recently: “Deniz Koyu. He makes damn cool music at the moment.” That all being said Koyu’s latest much anticipated track “Bong” was released yesterday on Fedde Le Grand’s label Refune Record. To put it simply I absolutely love this song, to me it kind of sounds like a flamenco-salsa-house music combination…and I can’t get enough of it.

Also check out his previous biggest single, “Tung”, which kind of has the same vibe going for it.
Here at GMS were always looking to improve your experience with music. Whether it be putting up the latest and best tracks, news about the industry or any of the other shenanigans we partake in our goal is always to keep our readers knowledgeable and entertained. So starting today throughout each week Jon and myself will be combing through sets (live or podcasts) and picking out our top 3-5 to put up for our new segment “Sunday Night Sets”.
So this week we searched and found five full sets that absolutely bang. Be sure to throw these on for your gym time, summertime parties, or when your just cruising around in your car. Being that EDC was this past weekend we included our three favorite sets from the epic festival and two others to mix things up a bit. So without any further pointless banter here ya go. Enjoy.

I’m happy to say that I’m actually pretty damn excited to put this new song up. So excited in fact that I took some time away from the intense minesweeper game I was having in my cubicle at work to post this, hell I even snuck on some earbuds to listen to it real quick…the risks I take for you guys. Anyways so Chuckie who is famously known for his signature “Dirty Dutch” style is back at us again, this time giving us his newest collaboration with Promise Land and featuring the vocals of Amanda Wilson. Chuckie has been teasing the release of this song to crowds across the globe, dropping it at first at EDC NY. The track is a little different than Chuckie’s usual sound and features a more melodic style while still dropping into those heavy hitting parts. The song has some phenomenal vocals and certainly builds you up and when the drop finally kicks you’ll surely be jumping. So checkout Chuckie & Promise Land’s newest collaboration “Breaking Up” and be sure to put this one on your iPod.

If you don’t know who Michael Brun is I can’t say I’m not surprised, just a little saddened because he is so damn good. Michael Brun is 19 years old and currently studying at Davidson College, so for all you dorm room producers out there Michael Brun should be some encouragement. Previously having released his two singles “Dawn” on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings and “Rise” on Dirty South’s Phazing records, he’s now back at us with his latest Remix to Charli XCX’s “Nuclear Seasons.” The track is absolute gold. I love it, I’m sure you will to. Enjoy and put this on your iPod.
