Like I’ve always said, Zeds Dead have always been game changers, extremely influential in the dubstep genre and have always pushed the genre forward and in new directions. DC and Hooks have done it again with this mixtape. The addition of Omar LinX to go over the Hip Hop influenced tracks is perfect. A lot of rappers have tried to jump on the bandwagon and rap over dubstep tracks before, only to fall short, but when Zeds Dead and Omar LinX work together, it’s absolute perfection, it’s beautiful, no other way to put it. Zeds Dead uses old school samples and hip hop influenced beats, infused with their hard hitting drops, Omar LinX’s aggressive rap style to make a truly genre compounded mixtape.
